A Nintendo DS coma lector de libros electrónicos

A Nintendo DS é a consola de videoxogos que demostrou que este tipo de dispositivos se poden empregar para moito máis, como para navegar pola web grazas a unha versión do Opera, a reprodución multimedia, para adestrar a mente, para axudar a cociñar e agora tamén coma plataforma de lectura, pois Nintendo chegou a un acordo coa editorial HarperCollins para comercializar a partir do 26 de decembro no Reino Unido por 19,99 libras o título The 100 Classic Book Collection, que recolle 100 libros (en inglés) da literatura universal incluíndo a autores coma Shakespeare, Dickens ou Verne, e que aproveita a pantalla táctil da DS para pasar de páxina, facendo que o agarre da consola en modo libro que se viña a utilizar en títulos coma Brain Training agora sexa moito máis literal.
Na lectura das obras se pode axustar o tamaño do texto, podemos explorar os distintos libros incluídos por distintos parámetros (autor, título, lonxitude…) e incluso se conta coa posibilidade de descargar novas obras a través de Wi-Fi (nun principio conta con 10 libros adicionais).
Haberá que agardar para ver se este produto chega en distintas versións internacionais, aínda que os interesados poden encargalo en inglés por uns 25,49 euros (gastos de envío incluídos). Resultará interesante ver se ten unha boa acollida este método de lectura que goza de grande portabilidade e resulta ideal para levar de viaxe.
